ملخص الحكاية : كانت الطفلة شروق متجهة إلى مدرستها، لكن الضوء الأحمر الذي مازال مشتعلا منعها من عبور الطريق إلى الجهة الأخرى. ولما تعبت من الانتظار صرخت في وجه الضوء الأحمر غير أنه اعتذر وأوضح لها بأن الضوء الأخضر معطل. أخذت شروق تفكر فيم ستفعله، وبينما كانت غارقة في همومها، رأت شرطية المرور قادمة فتقدمت نحوها وشرحت لها ما وقع ثم طلبت منها المساعدة...

Chorouq était en route pour son école, mais elle n’a pu traverser la route car le feu était rouge. Elle attendait patiemment le feu vert mais rien ne s’est passé, le feu était toujours rouge. La fille se mit en colère et cria sur le feu rouge demandant des explications. Le feu lui demanda pardon et expliqua à l’enfant que le feu vert était en panne. A ce moment-là, Chorouq ne savait plus quoi faire, mais elle aperçut la policière de la circulation. Dès son arrivée, la petite fille lui expliqua la situation et lui demanda de l’aide…

Shorouq was on her way to school, but she could not cross the road because of the red light. She waited patiently for the green light but nothing happened, the light remained red. The girl got angry and shouted on the red light asking for explanations. The light begged her forgiveness and explained to the child that the green light was broken. At that moment, Shorouq did not know what to do, but she saw the traffic policewoman coming. As soon as she arrived, the little girl explained her the situation and asked her for help ...
