The 5x8' trailer that this insert was built into has an overhead gantry system which I used to lift concrete staircases and objects under 1500lbs up and onto the trailer.  I considered purchasing a dump trailer, however, I don't really need it year round - so I created this dump insert which is removable if necessary (however, I don't plan on removing it).
a-b-r-a-s-i-o-n - there all better (typo @ 2:38)

Cost:
$140 for welding service and some angle iron
approx $280 in other materials (rough guess-timate)
I could have used less expensive wood than redwood, but it's very light weight - weight is a consideration for this small setup and I haul it with an Isuzu Rodeo.  Pressure treated 2x6's are heavy (and tend to warp).
