Hello Power Engineers !
We are explaining Steam turbine basic concepts in this video and functional details. This explain the complex machines in simple words. This video is for introduction of steam turbines to beginners who want to learn the technology, in the subsequent videos we will create details on each major parts of Steam turbine and Gas Turbine in base load and peak load power plants.

We conduct Sunday session for discussion and doubt clarification as power plant discussion forum. we have expert team from different streams like Operations Engineers and Maintenance engineers and controls engineers from power plant.
Please  write in comments if you wish to attend Sunday sessions.
Turbine eccentricity is the amount that the turbine shaft deviates from a perfect circle while in motion. Essentially it is how much it wobbles. Turbine position is sometimes referred to as spindle position and it refers to the horizontal movement of the shaft. Rotor eccentricity. Rotor eccentricity is a measure of how much the rotor is bent. Measurements are limited to the HP turbine rotor which is considered as are presentative sample of the whole turbine generator shaft.
