🗣️ It’s not about the product—it's about the customers in front of you and how you relate to them. Great salespeople know that building relationships is key. A standout story from my time in the fitness industry highlights this perfectly.

At one of my Houston locations, I had a kid who worked for me for about four or five months. He was a natural at sales, though he didn’t strictly follow our process. Instead, he created his own and thrived. His enthusiasm for selling gym memberships was infectious, even motivating me!

Every gym tour he gave was an experience. He'd say things like, "Buckle up your seat belts because we're going to outer space!" It might sound comical, but his energy and guts to say that to new customers made a huge impact. Some people loved it, some didn’t—but those who did were hooked by his motivation.

He immersed himself in every detail of the gym, even making customers try the mouthwash in the bathrooms and smell the lotion. His enthusiasm and emotional connection to the product skyrocketed his sales.

Sales isn’t just about the product—it’s about the passion and energy you bring to the table. 💥
