The Oxo pour-over maker uses a slowly dripping reservoir, letting you make legit pour-over coffee without a kettle or gooseneck scale.

Is it good?

For the right person, that’s a resounding “yes”! It’s every bit as easy as advertised, and definitely superior to cheap automatic brewers.

And with a couple of additional (and very easy steps), you can improve the results even further.

Granted, the reservoir (and the dripper’s tiny drain hole) take away the flexibility you’ll get with a conventional pour-over set-up. You can’t control flow rate, and have much less control over temperature. Your hands are somewhat tied-up when it comes to dialing in your brew for a specific coffee.

But even if it frustrates coffee geeks (like yours truly), it’s still a terrific option if you want a cheap, minimal-effort way to make coffee _that actually tastes good_!

By the way, a good grinder helps you get the most out of the Oxo dripper or any other brewer on the planet.
