Long-established sweet chestnut "Hayashi Mansho-do" in the Meiji 7 year of its founding.
In the center of Kyoto, near the entrance of Shinkyogoku, it has a sweet and fragrant aroma.
We also sell freshly baked sweet chestnuts at department stores, so the site was very busy on the day of shooting the movie, so we asked him to listen to it, and took a picture of the valuable process of making sweet chestnuts.
The day my father bought a sweet chestnut from Hayashi Manshodo and came back from the company.
On that night, the whole family laughed while arguing about something like "Can you peel the chestnuts at once?"
Nostalgic now, the memories of those days come back.
After all, I love this taste, Hayashi Manshodo's sweet chestnut is a soul food in Kyoto.
