In allergic rhinitis, that is the allergy of the nose, the common allergens, that is the stimulus which causes the allergy are air borne allergens which cane be dust bite, insect products, cockroaches,. It can be animal products, animal dandruff, it can be birds droppings, fungus, pollens. So we look for this. The most common reason why they have allergic rhinitis, is because they have allergy to insect called as dust mites and it is there in the room. People with allergic rhinitis tends to sneeze more in the room than outside or in the streets. Many people ask whether mask can be used to prevent the load of allergens from entering inside the nose, then answer is no, because the mask cannot filter that size of particles. So the main pivot point is, when one is allergic, then find out what they are allergic to by doing allergic skin prick tests or they can resort to blood tests. See if the can prevent the appearance of allergens in their environment. If it is not possible, then will have to be on medication or they have to undergo a process called immunotherapy.
