In this webinar, we will be unpacking and exploring AutoCAD System Variables. System variables are settings that control how certain AutoCAD commands work.

Most AutoCAD commands usually initiate an activity or open a dialog box, system variables control the behaviour of commands, default values for operations, or the appearance of the user interface. They can turn on or turn off modes such as Snaps, Grid, or Ortho, set default scales for hatch patterns and store information about the current drawing or program configuration.

With so many different outcomes of using variables, we will be answering the following questions:

What are system variables?
Why are they different to AutoCAD commands?
