Egg Gravy 2 Ways- Kueh Teow/Rice | Wat Tan Hor/Mun Fun

Wat Tan Hor (Kueh Teow in egg gravy) & Mun Fun (Rice with egg gravy); both are my favs! Which one would you prefer? Tell me in comment section yah. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

Ingredient list:
[egg gravy, for 2 pax]
-your choice of protein (chicken, beef or pork)
-seafood (squid and prawns)
-minced garlic, 2 tbsp
-6 ginger slices
-water or chicken stock (800ml)
-veges (my choice was carrot and choy sum, sorry I dunno why I kept thinking it’s bak choy in the video haha)
-1 tbsp oyster sauce
-1 tbsp soy sauce
-1 tbsp sesame seed oil
-1 tbsp fish sauce
-1 tbsp sugar
-a few dashes of white pepper
-1 tbsp Shao Xing wine (our Muslim friends can skip this)
-2 eggs
-corn starch slurry (3 tbsp corn starch with 6 tbsp water)

Choice of carb: Kueh teow (drizzle 1 tsp of dark caramel soy sauce and pan fry with a little oil) or white rice with a fried egg
.
Tip: Don’t forget to eat it with cili padi bits with a little soy sauce, it’s super awesome!
