SECOND ENCOUNTER: Uniden DFR9 & Uniden DFR8 vs 33.8 Ghz Ka Police Radar

Second documented police radar encounter
Second documented police radar encounter with the new Uniden DFR9/Uniden DFR8 radar detector.
After having made repeated runs against this patrol officer. I made one too and the officer came out after me. Fortunately, I had a good jump on him and managed to duck off before getting a side-bar.
Made two passes one while he was targeting away and then one when he was targeting toward me.
The office was technically operating his 33.8Ghz Ka police radar gun in instant-on (rf hold), but at certain times was operating the unit long-enough that I considered it constant-on.
In any event. again the Uniden DFR9 performed admirably and even felt similar in behavior to a Uniden R3, although not quite at its performance level.
Note: I fully expect to get slammed by some online for my left turn off of the highway from the RIGHT lane, but I had very little time and the road had CLEARED so no one was close to me when I did so.
The more seasoned drivers of you probably have found yourselves in similar circumstances, where EVERY SECOND COUNTS.
