Being Out of Juice

The plaintiffs, a man and his fiancée, rented an apartment from the defendant even though they knew the electricity didn’t work. He says the defendant promised to fix the electricity, so the plaintiffs stayed on a friend’s couch. When they went back to the apartment a month later, all their belongings were gone.
