Clyde S VanEnkevort – An articulated tug built in 2011 by Donjon Shipbuilding & Repair, Erie, PA. She’s 135’4” in length, 50’ in beam and is paired with barge Erie Trader.
She’s powered by twin Caterpillar-MaK – 8M32C 8-cylinder Diesels providing 10,876 bhp turning 2 changeable pitch propellers.
Erie Trader – Owned and operated by VanEnkevort Tug & Barge Inc. Built in 2012 as The Lakes Contender, an articulated self-unloading barge for Seajon LLC, a partnership between SEACOR Marine Holdings and Donjon Marine. She measures LOA 740’ long by 78’ in beam. Tug and barge combined length is 840’.
