Paneer Lababdar Ingredients

Oil                                       2 tbsp                  
Ghee                                  1 tsp
Cloves                                5-6 pcs
Black pepper                     10-12 pcs
Cinnamon                           2 inches
Bayleaf                                1-2 pcs
Green cardamom                  2 pcs
Black cardamom                  2 pcs
Onion chopped                   1 cup
Ginger & garlic paste          2 tbsp
Red chilli pwd                      1 tsp
Turmeric pwd                       1 tsp
Coriander pwd                      1 tsp
Tomatoes chopped               2 cups
Soaked cashew                   3 tbsp
Cream                                  2 tbsp
Butter                                   1 tbsp
Kasoori methi                       1 tbsp
Paneer                                  300 gms
Coal                                       1 pc
Coriander                              for garnish

Heat a pan, add oil, cloves, black pepper, bay leaf, black cardamom, cinnamon and saute it. Then add chopped onion, ginger and garlic paste and cook until onion gets translucent.
Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder.
Then add chopped tomatoes and cook until it gets mashy.
Transfer it to a mixer grinder, remove whole spices and make a paste of it.
In a mixer grinder add soaked cashew nuts with some water and make paste of it.
Heat another pan, add oil, ginger and garlic paste, red chilli powder and saute.
Then add onion-tomato masala paste, boiled cashew paste and cook for a while.
Add cream, butter and stir.
Then add salt, kasoori methi and cook for a while.
Now place the lighted coal in a bowl, transfer it to the gravy, pour some ghee on it and close the lid and smoke it.
Lastly add paneer triangles and cook for 1-2 mins.
Paneer lababdar is ready to serve.
Garnish it with coriander and fresh cream.
