Every Monday for 6 weeks
Every Monday for 6 weeks join us at 3.30pm on Reading Culture Live (video is available ongoing so tune in later if you can’t make 3.30pm) for a kid’s after school art club with a difference.
Each Monday your child can take part in a creative community project in Reading, which aims to safely connect people who may be living on their own or in a care home, and may potentially feel isolated and lonely, through Art.
This 6 week project was successfully chosen by Reading Culture Live to be part of a larger initiative to help artists connect with the community during these challenging times. We successfully secured Art Council UK Lottery Funding to be able to run this project.
Mindful Mini Makes will be run by Tamalia Reeves of MADEbyTamalia Art, Craft & Lifestyle Studio. She is a local Reading based Artist and Qualified Teacher with a wealth of experience working with children and adults of all ages, and with a passion for using art for mental health and wellbeing.
