Hello & Welcome to Harnetty Railways
In this video we have a collection of model railway action from our friends at The North West Museum of Road Transport in St Helens town centre.
Back in the spring 2023 there were a few running days of the G Scale models operating during the Easter Holidays & on selected days before being packed away.
We feature a variety of motive power featuring locos from different countries including Germany & the United States of America.
Also for our younger viewers features the G Scale Thomas & Friends range including Thomas himself.
Interesting feature as well that can fit on the same scale track are the Gauge 1 scale locos featuring mostly British locos of The London Midland & Scottish Railway.
We feature BR Standard class 4 tank, LMS Jinty 0-6-0 tank, Stanier 8f & Sir William Stanier's ultimate achievement the Black 5 which was numbered 45110 based on the full size counter part preserved on The Severn Valley Railway.
This video is dedicated to a senior friend of ours & 1 of the longest serving & working volunteers of the museum Shaun McGarry who sadly passed away back in early June 2023.
Us at Harnetty Railways likes to send their thoughts & condolences to everyone at The North West Museum of Road Transport at the very difficult time.
R.I.P Shaun McGarry you will be sadly missed by everyone who have had the privilege to have known you.
