Today's summer cocktail is the
Today's summer cocktail is the White Wine Spritzer, perfect for a hot summer day to enjoy a glass of wine with sparkling water or club soda. I got the inspiration from The Simpsons as Ned Flanders tries one in Las Vegas. This summer Cocktail number 2 for 2023.

The White Wine Spritzer is a nice, crisp refreshing drink complimented by the wine you choose. You can use sparkling water to make it bitter or club soda to give it a sweeter taste. On preference I would go for club soda (lemonade) in the future.
White Wine Spritzer Recipe
Ingredients (Recipe):
- 90ml (30z) White Wine (Pinot Grigio is a good choice for this)
- 45ml (1.5oz) Sparkling Water or Club Soda (Lemonade)
- Lime slice for a garnish
How to make (Method):
1. Put ice in your wine glass around 2/3 of the glass.
2. Chill the white wine and sparkling water or club soda beforehand.
3. Pour in the white wine.
4. Top up with sparkling water or club soda (lemonade).
5. Garnish with a lime slice.
That is summer cocktail no.2 The White Wine Spritzer, what do you think of this 2 ingredient combination? Personally I would use club soda rather than sparkling water, but each to their own.
