Recently, I worked with a client with severe OCD. He successfully completed an ERP Exposure Therapy Treatment and was overjoyed with his success. He terminated treatment once he met his challenging treatment goals.  What happened next shocked us both.

Here is a FREE PDF gift for you to help you with your Exposures and Response Prevention ERP.

Just a few months later, his obsessions and compulsions were back, just as powerful as before treatment. What happened? This started a very important process of discovery for me. Why is exposure ineffective at times? What causes exposures to revert back to pretreatment levels? Is exposure therapy flawed at it’s core? Is it possible to conduct exposure therapy that is successful and sticks?

I dug into the most current research published about exposure therapy and how to maximize it’s effectiveness. Although, exposure therapy is not perfect, I learned how to make it more effective and how to give it the best foundation to last long term in a person’s life. In this video, I share what I have learned to help make your exposure therapy stick through the challenges of every day life and other challenges that can threaten to steal your growth.

Make sure to take notes! Whether you are a seasoned expert or do not know anything about exposure therapy, you will find some new, and maybe shocking, information that will take you further.
