Nutty Pear French Toast

This easy Nutty French Toast recipe is the BEST hands down!! It's one of our family's favorite breakfasts!

Ingredients
For French Toast
4 large eggs
2/3 cup milk
1/4 c granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 thick slices of bread
¾ c pecans, finely chopped
¾ c cashews, finely chopped
¼ tsp freshly ground nutmeg
½ c. caramel sauce
1 tsp salt

For Pears
1-2 pear, sliced
3 ½ tbsp 151 rum
1/4 c butter
1/2 c brown sugar
Pinch salt

For cream cheese whipped cream
1 heavy whipping cream
2-3 tbsp powdered sugar
2 oz cream cheese (omit if you want whipped cream)
½ tsp vanilla
