Here we show you how simple it is to bake our heritage white pheasant bird in your home oven. Remove the bird from the bag, cover it in olive oil on a pan, sprinkle salt on it and put it in the preheated oven at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes. Pull the bird out and let it rest for 15 minutes. You can even re-drench the hot olive oil back onto the bird. This lets the meat remain tender and moist. After 15 minutes of rest, change your oven temperature to 350 degrees and insert the bird for another 20 minutes. Once its time to pull the bird out of the oven, re-scoop some oil back on the bird and sprinkle pepper as a final touch to an already delicious meal.
