"The Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
"The Forward Collision Warning (FCW) system helps you when you’re getting too close to the vehicle ahead by illuminating an indicator light and providing a warning chime.
The FCW system functions when your vehicle is driven at speeds of approximately 10 miles-per-hour and above.
To enable or disable the FCW:
● Press this button until you reach the SETTINGS menu
● Use this switch to select “DRIVER ASSISTANCE”
● Then press the ENTER button
● Next, select Driving Aids and press the ENTER button
● Select “FORWARD COLLISION WARNING” and press ENTER to uncheck the “FORWARD COLLISION WARNING”
● Press the ENTER button again to check the box and re-activate the system.
Once enabled, the system can be turned ON or OFF by pushing the warning systems switch located on the instrument panel to the left of the steering column. When the system is on, the indicator light on the switch will illuminate.
