Mike Bloomfield Interview with Bob Simmons - 1979

Back in 1979, Bob Simmons interviewed Mike Bloomfield for a program on a local San Francisco radio station. In this program, Mike talked about working with Bob Dylan on his first electric album, Highway 61. He also describes coming to San Francisco in the mid-60's with the Butterfield Band, and the music scene at the time the 'Summer of Love' was taking off. He discussed the beginnings of the Electric Flag and what it was like to play at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967.
