Top 50 Greatest American Racehorses

A video of the 50 greatest American Racehorses in my opinion. The majority of the horses here I think everyone would agree deserve to be in this list. There's bound to be a few horses that I've put in that some people would swap for others.

In the time that I've followed the sport the two best American horses that I've seen are Sunday Silence & Easy Goer. What a magnificent rivalry they had, two great horses. I also have fond memories of the top horses from the 90's Holy Bull, Cigar & Skip Away.

For most, Secretariat will be their no.1. The majority of other greatest lists I've seen have Citation, Man O' War, Kelso, Count Fleet, Dr Fager, Seattle Slew & Spectacular Bid in their top ten.

Obviously, a lot of support would go to Ruffian, Zenyatta & Rachel Alexandra.

For the current generation it will all be about American Pharoah, California Chrome, Arrogate, Gun Runner & Justify.
