Planting Waratah Cuttings.

The Waratah (Telopea speciosissima) is the floral emblem of my state, New South Wales. I had a white waratah, but it died. The red one is powering away and I'll have to prune it right back later on this year. At the time of filming, it's almost at full bloom.

I don't know when I should take cuttings from it, but seeing as how it's spring, I figure that should be good enough, so I've taken half a dozen cuttings, dipped them in rooting hormone and put them into my raised garden bed with all my other cutting for this season.

As well as showing off my Waratah, you can see what other cuttings I've got going. I also have my own variety of apple tree, which I call Sweet Bobundara.
