Do you know the player dubbed the Black Babe Ruth? He's Josh Gibson, the greatest slugger in the history of the Negro Leagues.
And now, with the integration of the statistics of MLB and the Negro leagues, Gibson is now the owner of the greatest single-season and career records in the history of baseball.
It would've been a treat to see Gibson in MLB. Unfortunately, racial segregation at the time prevented him from joining the majors.
