Using a Bordon flask filled with air and connected to a pressure gauge and a temperature probe I investigate how gas pressure and temperature are related.  This video shows the experiment layout and the collection of pressure and temperature data.  In a video 2 (Gas Pressure and Temperature - Analys...) I show how the data can be interpreted to find the mathematical relationship between pressure and temperature.

Try the data analysis yourself with the free worksheet available here:  https://physicshq.wixsite.com/alevelp...
Perfect if you're learning physics at home.

Relevant concepts: gas pressure, gas temperature, psi and kPa conversion, celsius and kelvin conversion, direct proportionality, inverse proportionality, and testing for proportionality.

Experiments with gases, like this one, are mandatory practicals for many physics specifications.  So this is good practice for OCR physics A, AQA A-Level physics, Edexcel A-Level physics, CPAC, PAG, practical endorsement.
