On 17 September, 1983, Prince Philip's carriage race came to an abrupt stop in the middle of a river.
While competing in the National Driving TX Championships, one of his horses got its leg caught in the reins while exiting a tricky water obstacle.
After the animal was tended to, Prince Philip was on his way again, albeit slightly damper than before...
