Rare Candid Footage of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip at Windsor Horse Show (1988)

On 13 May 1988, ITN filmed some remarkably candid footage of Queen Elizabeth II as she watched Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh practise carriage driving at the Windsor Horse Show. The Queen was seen gesturing enthusiastically, laughing, and posing for private photographs in a mood that seemed less inhibited than the demeaneour required of her during public engagements.
