Electro-Voice RE20 Microphone Repair

The Electro-Voice RE20 is a legendary dynamic (moving coil) microphone used in broadcast and studio recording environments all over the world.

With age they suffer a number of issues due to materials or glues in the mic disintegrating. Inside the mic we repair today, the foam that keeps everything in place has dried out and turned to dust, so we are gonna re stuff it. Its a straight forward fix but microphones tend to be delicate, lots of small parts and fiddly, not to mention expensive.
