Pakistan could be the buyer of the J-35 stealth fighter jet manufactured by China, the plane will be in competition with the US F-35 in advancement. According to the details, China’s plan for the most modern fighter jet in its history, J35, is in the process of completion.
It is expected that J35 fighter jets will start regular flights by 2021. Production of the aircraft is expected to begin by 2025.
The fourth generation J35 fighter jet manufactured by China is being termed as a competition of the US F35 stealth aircraft. Defense experts say the completion of the J35 project will make the Chinese air force extremely powerful.
Details of the project first surfaced in 2012, after which China was expected to complete the project by 2019, but due to some technical reasons, the project was delayed. Now China is working to complete the project as soon as possible. However, it has also been suggested that Pakistan could also become a buyer of the fighter jet.
After India’s purchase of French Rafale fighter jets and Russian planes, Pakistan can also buy Chinese fighter jets to maintain the balance of power in the region.
It was further stated that the J35 fighter jets manufactured by China are cheaper than other fighter jets in the same category. The US F-35 fighter jet is valued at 79 million dollar, the French Rafale at 77 million dollar and the Chinese J35 at 70 million dollar.
