Cassava, AKA yuca or manioc or tapioca, is one of the easiest staple root crops you can grow - provided you live in a somewhat tropical region. I have been growing cassava for over a decade now. If you have heavy soil or clay, it is important to dig and create very loose soil so it can grow and expand beneath the ground. In sandy soil, cassava grows easily just being planted without digging mounds, but with my heavier soil I dig big mounds with lots of space for the roots to expand. It's good to understand how to plant cassava as well, because if you plant cuttings the wrong way you won't have success. Thanks for watching!
