Marathon (1994, Bungie) Remixes by Matrix_XV, 2021-2022

Matrix’s channel:    / @matrix_xv   Created 2021-2022 in LMMS (lmms.io/). There are several pretty sweet mixes in here. One of my favourites is “Landing”, which Matrix_XV (pronounced “Matrix fifteen”, incidentally) has described as “a knock-off version of Black Sabbath”. Synth guitars have obviously gotten much better since I last messed with them. This also contains one of the more interesting takes I’ve heard on “Guardians”, which is not typically one of my favourite tracks on the OST. Overall, these mixes have a rich, full, more modern sound that still remains faithful to the original soundtrack. Posted by permission.
