In this Physics video in Hindi for Class 12 we calculated different energy levels of electrons in a hydrogen atom using Bohr's second postulate. We also derived the expressions for the radius of the orbits and orbital speed of electrons. We also explained what Bohr radius is and calculated its value. This is a topic from Chapter 12 : 'Atoms' for Class 12 from NCERT. Bohr's postulates : 1. An electron in an atom could revolve in certain stable orbits without the emission of radiant energy. 2. Electron revolves around the nucleus only in those orbits for which the angular momentum is some integral multiple of h/2π. 3.
