Welcome to The Cup, a weekly (give or take, TBD, these are unprecedented times) performing arts talk show presented by Cup of Hemlock Theatre.
This is episode 1 of our 9-part miniseries reviewing the Royal Shakespeare Company’s 1980 landmark production of THE LIFE AND ADVENTURES OF NICHOLAS NICKLEBY. This production was adapted by David Edgar from Charles Dickens’s 1838 novel, directed by future-Les Miz helmsmen John Caird and Trevor Nunn, and starring Roger Rees in the title role. Join Mackenzie Horner and Ryan Borochovitz as they introduce the series, dive into the first hour of the production, and spend just a little too much time talking about muffins.
Episode 2 will premiere on September 1st. Make sure to subscribe to Cup of Hemlock Theatre to never miss an episode!
