How to fix Media Offline in Premiere Pro

Watch this quick tutorial to learn how to find your missing media!

You will get the media offline error because Premiere Pro can't locate the location of the file that's causing the error.

Examples
Example 1: The file (clip, image, audio, etc) is located on an external hard drive and it was accidently disconnected.
Example 2: The file was moved to another folder.
Example 3: The file was deleted.
Example 4: The file is located on a Cloud Drive and now that cloud drive is not accessible.

Solution:
Find the missing file by right clicking the file, select "Link Media", select Locate. If you've reconnected the external storage, then Premiere pro should find the same exact folder. So, then all you got to do is click on OK to confirm the location and hence relink the media file. However, if the location of the media is changed, then you should navigate to the new location, find the folder and click on OK.

TIP: If you don't know where the file is located, then go to the root folder or drive where you think the file might be located, and select "Search", depending how many files and subfolders are there, it'll take some time to find the file, and Premiere Pro should be able to locate that file & its folder.
