Eastern Cape Floods | Mop up operations underway in Kariega: Sinethemba Witi

Residents of Kariega in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro in the Eastern Cape have been evacuated from their homes as a precautionary measure. The move was carried out last night amid fears that the willow dam might flood and submerge the area. Heavy downpours have left a trail of destruction in parts of the province since Friday.
