Newport Beach Family Getaway Weekend Guide

One of our favorite places in California, Newport Beach is so much fun for families. We get to play on the water, rent duffy boats, check out the beaches and cute parks, stroll Balboa Island, play at the Balboa Fun Zone and dine with teh most beautiful sunset views.
We love staying at the Balboa Bay Resort because of it's perfect location on the water and it's excellent, large pool and hot tub. It's a perfect homebase for families, especially if you have a Bay view. We enjoyed wine, breakfasts and hanging out on the balcony every day.

We've rented a lot of Duffy boats in the past and find that they are great for all ages--even our little one has napped on the boat before. They are really exciting, safe and just gorgeous for a day adventure. The best company by far is Vision Electric Boat Rental. The boats are brand new, immaculate and come in a rainbow of colors (we love the pink and mint colors).

There's so many great restaurants but we do love Lido Village, A+O Restaurant and The Beachcomber. The latter usually  has a long wait but it's a memorable spot right on the sand.

Kids, adults and everyone in between will love this California beach town and hopefully our tips help you to have the best time!
