Rust removal white vinegar vs apple cider vinegar

We take a rusty timing chain, cut it in half and soak it in white distilled vinegar, the other half in apple cider vinegar. In glass jars we monitor it to see which removes rust faster and more efficiently. Take note of the liquids and how they change as we progress in this mini series. I plan to update every 2 days.
