CARIBBEAN STEWED GUAVAS
Wash guavas.

Wash guavas.
Peel the skin off.
Cut in half and scoop out the seeds with a spoon
Place guava shells (pieces) into a saucepan.
Add 1 cup of white sugar, 1 cup of water, 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon.
Cook on medium heat until it comes to a boil.
Turn the stove to medium heat and cook until the liquid thickens.
Remove from stove and pour into a glass container and let it sit until thickens.
This can be used over ice cream, in pies or on toast.
