Winter fishing in the Hauraki Gulf! Livebaiting for Kingfish

In this video Becky and I continue our pursuit of Kingfish in the Hauraki Gulf. We find some live baits and swim them at Gannet Rock- but being the middle of winter we knew we would have to work hard for our dinner! Luckily the slow jigs produced some pan sized snapper right on the change of light. This was an epic day full of adventure and the winter sun made the colour of the water and islands look spectacular.
