Slow jigging in the Hauraki Gulf

In this video we do almost everything wrong! We miss the workups, hit the water at midday with the sun high in the sky, and fish when its dead low tide! I wasn't confident, but then Jaden stepped up- big time! After warming up the gear and himself on some barely legal snapper, he nailed an absolute stonker and smashed his PB! It was so great to see his reaction and even better to get it all on film. Watch as we defy the odds and prove that slow jigs really do work when nature puts all the odds against you. Enjoy!
