Il "Tre di Spade" experimental archaeology team performs a sand casting of a Bronze Age long sword. The original model comes from Castiglione di Marano (Modena, Italy) Terramara site, dated back to the XV century BC. Since we do not have any stone mould for this kind of object from Middle Bronze Age, we have experimented a technique which does not lave any visible archaeological trace: the sand casting. This technology, as we can see in the video, is easy and "economic" for Bronze Age metallurgists.
