"Il Tre di Spade" (Claude, Pelle & Scacco) performs an experimental casting of an Early Bronze Age axe.
The casting process is carried out in a small pit, where the fire rises in temperature through the use of two bellows, constantly pumping air.
Initially, the crucible is filled with pure copper and after 10 minutes, Luca adds small pieces of tin. Few moments later, the metal is molten. Luca txtracts the crucible and pours it into the sandstone mould. Finally, we have the axe (but there is so much work still to do)!
