Stunning Beautiful TheTiny house Bonza By Baluchon
The Bonzaï Tiny house is built on a trailer only 4.5m long. Its reduced size will offer its owner Josselin greater mobility. Thanks to the weight gain obtained, he will also be able to leave all his belongings inside when traveling. The objective of this habitat is to follow its owner as he pursues his professional projects in England.
As Josselin is passionate about Japan, he wanted his house to be given a style inspired by this country. This is reflected in its architecture, made up of a curved frame, its red and black aluminum coverings and the beautiful bull's eye located on the gable. A roof terrace is accessible via a custom-made ladder fixed outside. Josselin will thus be able to benefit from an outdoor relaxation space at a height wherever he parks his tiny house.
The house is accessed from the boom side of the trailer, to facilitate comings and goings with the towing vehicle. We then enter the bathroom with a large 80x150cm shower tray. A wooden grating partially covers it so that shoes can be stored there without dirtying the floor. A wooden drying rack is also present on the shower ceiling. In this space there is also the dry toilet with stainless steel bucket and shavings compartment, as well as storage space above.
The kitchen includes a unit with oak worktop, a sink/hob combination, a sliding worktop extension, a pantry, as well as several other high and low storage compartments. Opposite, Josselin can store his clothes in a large unit with cupboards and drawers.
The living room is separated from the rest of the house thanks to a beautiful sliding door in oak and Washi paper (traditional Japanese paper). The floor is covered with two tatami mats. The kitchen being raised, we discover four large storage drawers below, which open to the living room side. In this room there is also a wood stove and its maintenance accessories, a folding oak table, six wall shelves and a row of high cupboards above the bull's-eye. The compartment in the center can notably accommodate the owner's video projector, the screen being able to unfold directly opposite. A soundbar is installed just above the latter.
Josselin's futon is stored in a large compartment behind the Washi door when not in use. It can be rolled out on the tatami mats for the night and hung on a custom bar located above the large sliding window to be aired as needed.
Josselin will live year-round in this tiny house, which will mainly travel around England.
