Translator Notes:
Starscream talks about giving the Seacons some Super Death Steel (スーパーデススチール). We’re not sure if the Desu / Death in the title is in reference to Destron.
Starscream says to BB, BB, wakatta? Torihiki wa aite no ashimoto o mite yaru no yo (BB,分かった？取引は相手の足元をみてやるのよ) or literally, “See, BB? Negotiations are done by keeping an eye on your opponent's feet.” This is in reference to business negotiations where one should keep an eye on the legs or feet of the person whom they’re talking to, as it can give away messages on whether they’re nervous or desperate about getting something out of the deal.
In the chip message that Scylla receives, it makes reference to a Tengu (天狗), which is a long-nosed goblin in Japanese folklore.
When the Jointrons kidnap Scylla, the scene is meant to be based on a typical over-the-top drama where a woman gets kidnaped by several thugs in masks
DJ makes a statement about the way the bag with Scylla is rolling down the hill by saying, Korede wa omusubi koro rin dea mi~ (これではおむすびころりんであみー) or literally, It's like a rice ball rolling down the hill, ming! This sentence is referenced from the children’s folktale "Omusubi Kororin" or literally, Rollin’ Rice ball.
