Starscream uses an expression Menouenotankobu (目の上のたんこぶ) which literally means “A bump on my eye.” Alternate expressions in English which mean the same thing are, "A bone in one's throat" or "A pain in the neck." However, later in the episode Starscream uses "above" and "below" in his expression comparing the ranks of himself and the Autorollers.
Autojetter gets upset at Tasmanian Kid for his lack of trust in them, and calls him a fukuroneko (袋猫) which is literally a quoll. A quoll is a carnivorous marsupial native to mainland Australia, New Guinea, and Tasmania. The Tasmanian devil is similar in many ways to the quoll, however, the quoll is regarded to be inferior.
