BMW M5 E60's S85 V10
BMW M5 E60's S85 V10 engine is undoubtable the zenith of BMW's high-powered torque engines. It revvs up to 8250 min-1 and reaches its max torque not until 6000 min-1.
Additionally it produces one of the best high rpm screaming sounds heared on civil streets. (according to many enthusiasts)
The engine was inspired by BMW's P86 Formula 1 engine which was last installed in BMW Sauber's Formula 1 racing car in the season 2009.
Can the BMW M135i compete in any way with its much newer and totally different turbo concept?
Some elasticity tests on the autobahn indicate an answer:
1st attempt (130 kph - 195 kph): 00:01:09 - 00:01:20
2nd attempt (120 kph - 178 kph): 00:01:30 - 00:01:38
3rd attempt (130 kph - 185 kph): 00:01:54 - 00:02:03
