What is Material Ledger?
SAP Material Ledger is one element in product costing that manages the inventory. when you do the valuation of your inventory, or reporting the inventory with multiple currency, you need material ledger.
In nutshell we say, for everything related to inventory , we need SAP Material Ledger.
Importantly, the impact of Material Ledger is not just on the Product Costing but also on many different processes as well.
Here in this video, we see the impact of Material Ledger in SAP S4 HANA on Actual Costing as well as on the Standard Costing.
