Transcontinental trains : 5PM5 and double stacks : Australian trains and railroads

This train came silently in to sight and only just gave me time to fire up the big camera for a trailing shot. I think it turned out ok and stuck with it right to the last until the front and rear of the train lined up in the distance. The three tier car wagons and double stack containers are pretty impressive as the train drops downgrade to cross the salt flats approaching Port Augusta.
