This is the famous 56 channel SSL 4000E G+ mixing  console owned by Genesis and used throughout their career for all of their hit records since 1984. Phil Collins, Mike and the Mechanics, and Tony Banks went on to sell millions of albums through their solo careers, which were all recorded on this desk. The credits this desk from The Farm Studio (also known as Fisher Lane Studio) has are incredible, including Eric Clapton, George Harrison, The Cure, Chaka Kahn and even Lady Gaga's last album Jolene! Dan Hawkins of platinum selling rock group The Darkness acquired it directly from the Genesis team, and now it joins the world famous recording collection at Essex Recording Studios in Southend-on-Sea, England!
