Is Charlotte the stingray actually pregnant?

Charlotte the stingray became internet famous after she was found to be mysteriously pregnant without being around a male of her species. But not all is as it seems with this story - there's been crazy misleading headlines and even now some conspiracy theories. Let's clear up this mess, shall we?
